Mary G. Manucharyan, PhD in Economics, Associate Professor, is the Director of the Institute of Economics at the National Academy of Sciences of Armenia. She leads the institute’s “Problems of the Real Sector of the Economy” research direction, serves on the institute’s Scientific Council, and is a member of the editorial boards of the collection “Current Issues of Socio-Economic Development in Armenia” (2018), the journal “Social Innovations and Social Sciences” (2023), and “Vestnik of the University of World Civilizations” (2024). She is also a guest editor for Unconventional Resources (Scopus, 2024). Concurrently, she lectures at the Department of Agrarian Economics at the Armenian National Agrarian University. Author of over 90 scientific publications, including in internationally peer-reviewed journals (Scopus, WoS), she regularly speaks at Armenian and international scientific events and delivers guest lectures at universities abroad (Italy, Greece, Portugal, Netherlands, Russia, Georgia, etc.). Her teaching portfolio includes international human resource management, behavioral economics, production marketing, labor economics, agrarian economics, water resource economics, research methodology, insurance, and social security. Her research interests encompass food security, labor market issues, agrarian sector challenges, circular and green economies, innovation in agriculture, and the role of the digital economy in agri-food systems, among others.
