“The Contemporary Issues of Socio-economic Development in the Republic of Armenia” is a peer-reviewed scientific journal published by The Institute of Economics after M. Kotanyan NAS RA since 2007.The mission of the journal is to publish scientific, up-to-date, original, practical articles devoted mainly to the study of various aspects and manifestations of socio-economic issues of the Republic of Armenia.
The journal considers original research articles in the following sections and broad topical areas:
- Macroeconomic issues and finance.
- Problems of the real economy.
- Development of the service sector and socio-demographic issues.
- History of economic research and economic thought.
The scientific journal is published twice a year, and research articles are accepted in three languages: Armenian, English, and Russian. All articles go through a blind review, during which two anonymous experts review the articles, and based on the review results, the journal editor makes a decision about the acceptance or rejection of the article. There are no publication charges or submission fees for this journal. All published articles are available online, free to read, download, and share.
The International Standard Serial Number (ISSN) is 1829-4324, also in 2023 the journal was indexed in the international bibliographic system CrossRef, and since then the published articles have Digital Object Identifier numbers (DOI).
