Yesterday, the Institute of Economics of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia hosted the leadership of Eurasia International University, represented by Rector Suren Ohanyan, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Ruben Markosyan, and Head of the Department of Management Anna Martirosyan.
During the meeting, the heads of the two institutions emphasized the importance of integrating higher education and scientific research, highlighted the need for closer cooperation mechanisms, and exchanged views on the development of university and research sectors.
Director of the Institute of Economics, Meri Manucharyan, and Scientific Secretary Evgenia Hakobyan presented the ongoing activities within the Institute’s scientific directions, the projects implemented by the Institute, and the journal “Current Issues of Socio-Economic Development in the Republic of Armenia.”
Following the discussion, the guests toured the Institute’s facilities, familiarized themselves with the working conditions, the library resources, and the activities of the “EconomX Lab.” At the conclusion of the visit, the parties discussed prospects for future collaboration.
